If I Had More Time:
Final Thoughts
If I had more time, I would refine the interactive features by adding user testing sessions with actual firefighters to better validate the layout, accessibility, and workflow. I would also explore additional functionality such as shared crew accounts, real-time syncing between devices, and nutritional breakdowns for each recipe to create an even more useful experience for busy crews.
This Project Taught Me:
This project taught me the value of designing with a specific audience in mind and understanding their daily challenges. By focusing on the unique needs of firefighters, I learned how important it is to create solutions that feel intuitive, reduce cognitive load, and truly support users in high-demand environments.
I Saw This As An Opportunity To:
I saw this as an opportunity to apply thoughtful UX and UI design to a real-world problem and create something functional for a community that relies heavily on teamwork and efficiency. It allowed me to grow my skills in wireframing, information architecture, and high-fidelity design while building an app that could genuinely make daily tasks easier for its users.
